Selangor's young left-back, Ahmad Zikri has been listed in the '25 Best ASEAN Wonderkids' by Goal Asia, an international football magazine.

Listed at the 24th position, Ahmad Zikri is the second young player to be absorbed into the Selangor FC main team by Selangor FC Sports Director, Michael Feichtenbeiner in his first season playing in the domestic league.

Last season, he was one of the pillars of the Selangor FC 2 defense which has played 90 minutes in nine matches at the position of center back, left-back, and number 6 throughout their performances in the Liga Premier.

With his excellent performance, Ahmad Zikri was promoted into the main team of the Red Giants and played 90 minutes in two matches, namely in the last action of the Liga Super 2020 against Felda United and the Malaysia Cup against Melaka United before the competition was canceled due to Covid-19.

In December 2020, he and four other Selangor FC 2 players have officially lined up for the Selangor main team for the season. Ahmad Zikri has played at left-back in five matches with 303 minutes of play in the Liga Super 2021 so far.
